Rhode Island Striped Bass Charters

Experience fishing Narragansett Bay and the beautiful waters of Rhode Island Sound for Striped Bass!

Get ready for your adventure on the water!

Experience some of the best striped bass fishing Rhode Island has to offer aboard Coastal Current Charters. From May through October, Captain Martin targets migrating striped bass throughout Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island Sound, Newport, Block Island, and other productive local waters, adapting each trip to the latest tides, weather, bait movements, and fishing conditions. Every striped bass charter is fully customized to your goals. Whether you're hoping to catch your very first striper, fill the cooler with legal slot-size fish, or pursue a trophy bass around the legendary waters of Block Island, we'll develop a game plan that gives you the best opportunity for success. Depending on the season and conditions, we may fish rocky shorelines, reefs, rips, open-water bait schools, or shallow structure using a variety of techniques, including live bait, artificial lures, topwater plugs, jigging, and light tackle. No two trips are exactly alike, and that's part of what makes striped bass fishing in Rhode Island so exciting. Our waters are also home to hard-fighting bluefish, which frequently provide fast-paced action throughout the season. On full-day charters, we can expand the adventure by targeting black sea bass and summer flounder (fluke), or simply enjoy the spectacular scenery around Newport, Narragansett Bay, Block Island, and the Rhode Island coastline I general. For anglers looking to fish farther from port, full-day charters provide enough time to comfortably reach destinations such as Block Island and Nomans Land, allowing us to spend more time fishing some of Southern New England's most productive waters. Whether you're an experienced angler searching for your next trophy or introducing your family to Rhode Island striped bass fishing for the very first time, Captain Martin provides premium tackle, expert guidance, and a personalized experience built around preparation, professionalism, and a genuine passion for putting guests on fish. Every trip is designed to create lasting memories while showcasing why Rhode Island is one of the premier striped bass fisheries on the East Coast.
