Rhode Island Bluefin Tuna Charters

Full-day offshore charters targeting bluefin tuna in Rhode Island's productive waters.

Get ready for your adventure on the water!

Experience the excitement of offshore tuna fishing in Rhode Island aboard our meticulously maintained 2023 Everglades 235. These full-day adventures are designed for anglers looking to pursue one of the ocean's most powerful gamefish while exploring the productive offshore waters surrounding Block Island, Rhode Island Sound, and the canyons beyond, depending on the season and conditions. Our primary target is the legendary Atlantic bluefin tuna, one of the most sought-after sportfish in the world. Every trip is carefully planned using the latest sea surface temperature charts, weather forecasts, bait movements, and fishing reports to put us in the best possible position for success. Depending on where the fish are feeding, we may troll a spread of premium lures, cast to breaking fish, or jig with heavy spinning tackle when opportunities arise. While bluefin are our primary focus, Rhode Island's offshore waters also offer opportunities to encounter yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, mahi-mahi (dolphinfish), and other pelagic species throughout the season. Every offshore trip is unique, and adapting to changing conditions is part of the adventure. The experience extends far beyond the fishing. Offshore waters are home to an incredible variety of marine wildlife, and it's common to encounter whales, dolphins, sea turtles, ocean sunfish, and countless seabirds during the run to and from the fishing grounds. These unforgettable moments are part of what makes offshore fishing in Rhode Island such a remarkable experience. Whether you're chasing your first tuna or adding another trophy to a lifetime of offshore adventures, Captain Martin provides premium tackle, hands-on instruction, and a personalized charter built around preparation, professionalism, and a relentless commitment to giving every guest the best opportunity for success.
